The NBA Draft took place Thursday night, and as expected, Brice Sensabaugh heard his name called.
Sensabaugh was the 28th overall pick. The Utah Jazz selected him with their final pick of this year’s draft. They drafted Taylor Hendricks with the ninth pick and Keyonte George at 16.
Sensabaugh found a home, and with Utah’s decision, he is the third Buckeye to be drafted in the past two years. Malaki Branham (who plays for the San Antonio Spurs) and E.J. Liddell (who plays for the New Orleans Pelicans) were members of last year’s draft.
The young forward was called one of the purest scorers in the draft. If his game translates to the NBA, the Jazz have a solid addition. And he will have a chance to showcase his skills during Summer League.
Brice Sensabaugh is one of the purest scorers in the 2023 NBA draft class. He's a bucket-getter from all ranges. Throwback style pulling up from midrange, and a knockdown 3-point shooter. But needs to improve as a passer and defender.
